Get personal help with your move

Tell us what you need and we’ll introduce you to one participating local agent: a selling agent for an appraisal, or a buyer’s agent who acts for you. Only with your permission, and we tell you before you send anything if we can’t cover your area.

How an introduction works

Personal help is there when you want it, and only then. Reading a guide, using a calculator or making a plan never puts you in touch with an agent.

How we’re paid

Our introductions are free for you. The agent we introduce you to pays us a fee for the introduction, whether or not you go ahead with them. It doesn’t change what you pay them, and you’re never obliged to use them.

We don’t charge you anything. If you go on to engage the agent, they charge their own fee (a selling agent’s commission, or a buyer’s agent’s fee), which you agree with them directly. Get it in writing before you sign.

The full detail
  1. 1

    Tell us what you need

A few questions about the property or the purchase, where it is and your timing. Choose how you’d like to be contacted.
  2. 2

    Give your permission

We only introduce you if you tick the box. Buying and selling are separate introductions, each with its own yes.
  3. 3

We find a participating agent who covers your area

If one does, we pass your request to that one agent, and say who will be in touch. If we can’t cover your area, we tell you plainly and point you to what to do next.
  4. 4

    They contact you

The agent contacts you the way you asked, normally within one business day. You decide whether to meet them. There’s no obligation.
  5. 5

    We check it was useful

A short email afterwards asks how it went. It tells us which agents keep their place.

How we choose the agents we introduce

Agents can’t buy their way in. Before an agent receives introductions from us, we check four things, and the people we introduce tell us how it went.

  • Proven local sales results

We review their recent sales in the suburbs they want introductions for, not just an office nearby.
  • Strong reviews from past clients

We read their reviews from past sellers or buyers, not just the ones they choose to show.
  • Licensed, with a clean record

We look them up on their state’s licence register before they join, and you can too (links below).
  • Interviewed by our team

We talk to every agent about how they work before they join. They agree to contact you promptly and tell us what happened.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t compare every agent in your area. We introduce agents from our participating network only.
  • We don’t act for you, give real estate or financial advice, or negotiate fees on your behalf. Our guides and worksheets help you do that well.
  • We don’t cover every suburb. If no participating agent covers yours, we say so before you send anything.
  • We never sell your details or pass them to a second agent without asking.
